Arthur F. Heymoss Jr., 75, of St. Clair, MI passed away peacefully at his home on March 19, 2025. Art was born on July 30, 1949, in Detroit, MI to Arthur F. Heymoss Sr. and Doris (Krause) Heymoss. After growing up in the area and Read Obituary
Art and I taught together at Tower High School. He had a great sense of humor .When Warren Woods High School and Tower merged, Art was laid off and I missed him terribly. Having read the praise from several of his students, I'm glad he was transferred. He would never have been able to teach British lit because Tower didn't offer it. He was a unique individual.

Mr. Heymoss was a fabulous teacher. He made Shakespeare’s words jump off the pages and enlighten us all.
He was smart, humorous, patient and kind - everything solid that a teenager needed in a teacher.

Mr. Heymoss was a wonderful teacher. I took his honors Shakespeare class when I was in eleventh grade. I was talked into taking this class by a friend. When Mr. Heymoss handed out the text books for this class, I thought I was in way over my head. I stuck out the class at Mr. Heymoss's encouragement. He was such an amazing master at his craft I earned an A- in the class! I appreciate everything he did for me and many others. He was also kind if I was late to his class after lunch as long as I brought him a frosty from Wendy's! He was the best!
My sister Kate Moser and I had Mr.Heymoss for British Lit. He was the best teacher with his RocknRoll Posters,long hair,stories and Volkswagen bug! We will miss him on this earth.
Mr. Heymoss was one of my favorite teachers and I still talk about how I gained an appreciation for Shakespeare because of him. He opened our eyes to the beauty of the language and poetry and made it so accessible. What a great testament to his teaching. Thank you!! Rest in peace.

We were friends for over 50 years... so many good times on River Street, the Ale House and up in Lewiston. You left a beautiful family and many loving memories. You will be missed my friend!
Mr. Heymoss was my favorite High School teacher. He directed a couple plays I was in and allowed me to return after graduating to help direct. I just turned 63 today and I've had a great career in theater and entertainment. He was a very positive influence in my life. Godspeed, Mr. H - You will be missed. Love to his family.
Art and l went to kindergarten and elementary school together in the '50's" l lived on Hazel ridge went to Robinson Elementary. As life does we went on our ways , l did not see Art for 60yrs until we talked through Facebook.l have been in CA for 60yrs Will miss him, God Bless his family.Love and Prayers
