Such a huge, huge loss. Anne-Marie had such love and warmth she gave to anyone she met. I’ll never forget going through one of the toughest moments in my life and her offering words of encouragement, wisdom and a hug when I needed it the most. You were definitely a treasured. Tonight I opened a box and pulled out 41 Birthday cards from Ann Marie. I treasured them. I read each one all over again. Through 41 years of friendship, multiple moves and crazy life changes... she never missed my birthday! For 41 years she always reminded me that she valued our friendship. These were no simple " Hey... Happy Birthday " cards. Each card contained a lovely heartfelt note acknowledging our enduring friendship. I was brought to my knees as I process the loss of the woman who taught me the meaning of true friendship.
