Ann T. Stimmel's Obituary
Ann T. Stimmel, age 91, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 28, 2024. She was born March 28, 1933 in Grosse Pointe Farms to the late Roy and Ruth Wallwork.
On November 8, 1952 Ann married Glen Stimmel Jr. in Grosse Pointe and enjoyed 71 years of marriage. Ann retired from UFCW Local 99 Chatham grocery store. Following retirement, she enjoyed quilting and traveling to Florida every winter.
Ann is survived by her husband, Glen Stimmel; children Sharon Amato, Denise Clark, Michelle (Jamie) Jones, Maralee (Bill) Lachovsky, and Kurt (Cindy) Stimmel; grandchildren Tony (Michelle) Amato, Phillip Amato, Andrea Jones, Karrie (James) Mackie, Corinn (Paul) Martin, JulieAnne (Chris) Monte, Jessica Jones, Joseph (Ashley) Geibig, Russell Lachovsky, Jake (Desaree) Stimmel, Kaleb (AbbyGale) Stimmel; great grandchildren Anthony & Dominic Amato, Andrew & Evan Jones, Madison, Olivia & Emma Mackie, Jack & Lily Geibig, James Monte, Nevaeh & Harbor Stimmel, Heidi & Everett Stimmel, along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Roy & Ruth Wallwork, in laws Glen & Julia Stimmel, brother Russell Wallwork, sister in laws Florence (Betty) (Arthur(Jerry)) Lariviere, Doris (Wilfred) Sutton and son in law William Clark Jr.
