Your Mom was a great friend and birthday buddy of mine.Iwill miss our birthday wishes to each other. Ann was a 3rd grade mentor teacher to me when I moved to St. Clair and was hired to teach the extra 3rd graders that year at Eddie, but it turned out there weren’t enough classrooms available so they moved Ann, Nelda and myself, along with all the 3rd graders across the street to St. Mary’s. What a fun year we had! Great memories for a wonderful southern lady! Blessings to all of you.

Two of our kids were lucky to have had Mrs. Alley for their teacher, and have said so many times over the years. They all can no doubt her reading to them almost daily. Ann was fortunate to have taught during her career when reading to kids was considered valuable time spent toward their education. RIP, Ann.
I had Ann Alley as my 3rd grade teacher. She was a favorite of mine ❤️ I remember her reading Nancy Drew books to us and I enjoyed that so much. RIP I'll always have fond memories of you. Dawn Gallagher
Mrs. Alley was my 3rd grade teacher - she had a southern accent that was so pleasing to hear - she always talked about making homemade butter when she was little - so one day after we pestered her enough, she bought a mason jar in with heavy cream & crackers - she passed it around the room so we all could take turns and shake it into butter - it tasted so good! Now when I make butter at home I always think of her! Condolences to the family!
Mrs Alley was my favorite teacher! I will always remember her reading poems from “Where The Sidewalk Ends” to the class, with her southern accent! I ran right out and bought the book and still have it today, that was 47 years ago!! I always thought of her when reading to my children and now to my granddaughter! RIP Mrs Alley❤️
