Wilma Baumann's Obituary
Wilma Baumann, age 88, of St. Clair, died November 12, 2011. She was born January 9, 1923 in Heimtal, Ukrain to Frederick and Natalie Kautz, she immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1928. She married Ernest Baumann in 1959 and moved to St. Clair. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Wilma was an active member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. She also was a member of golf and bowling leagues and belonged to many card clubs. She was a constable in the City of St. Clair. Wilma worked at Silk's Flower Shop for many years.
Wilma is survived by her sister; Vera (Peter) Doell, brothers; Arvid Kautz and Victor (Jay) Kautz and many nieces and nephews in Canada. Her St. Clair families; Louis and Doris Eisen, George and Doris Eisen, Rolland Eisen and especially Carl and Marlene Eisen, Tom and Barbara Eisen and Dick and Theresa Eisen and their children. She had many friends who she cherished and enjoyed playing cards with. Wilma also was preceded in death by a son Ernest, her parents and brothers; Gerhard, Harry and sister; Mary Manness. Wilma will be missed by many people who visited her regularly. A special thank you to the caregivers at Marwood Manor.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Nov. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church, St. Clair. A private family interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery prior to the service. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp.
