William Joseph Vorhoff IV's Obituary
William Joseph Vorhoff IV, age 57, of St. Clair, formerly of Inkster, passed away after a long fearless battle with cancer on January 13, 2022. He was born on October 13, 1964 to William III and the late Dianne Vorhoff. Bill married Elizabeth Mira on May 3, 2009 under the arch at Palmer Park in St. Clair. Bill worked as an advisor system administrator with DXC technology. Bill loved everything about his job. The people he worked with, the challenges he faced, and problem solving those challenges. The passion he had for his job is what kept him going the past 10 years during his battle with cancer. Bill was a proud boy scout member, his fondest childhood memories were when he would go camping in boy scouts, especially the trip to New Mexico he went on with his father, William III. Prior to cancer, Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and taking trips to the cottage. Bill also loved to barbeque on his Weber charcoal grill. He would barbeque hot dogs, chicken, pizza, and everything in between. Above all, Bill cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bill enjoyed collecting and building Lego with them as well as watching Spongebob Squarepants cartoons.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; sons, Billy and Spenser Vorhoff; beloved grandchildren, Theodore, Alexander (Mother Lindsey); father, William III (Jackie) Vorhoff; brother, Kenny Vorhoff; feline companions, Liberty and Smokey, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dianne.
