William Dean Malcolm Jr.'s Obituary
William "Dean" Malcolm Jr., 61, long time resident of St Clair, more recently of Port Huron, MI, died August 5th, 2016, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 23rd, 1954 to William D. Malcolm Sr. and C. Lorna (Shagena) in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Dean married his high school sweetheart, Kay Ann Zimmer, October 28th, 1972.
Proud member of Operating Engineers Local 324, a crane and hydraulic dredge operator, Dean loved spending time with his grandkids and his dog, Lydia. He traveled to Savannah, sharing his love of Michigan with his granddaughters there. He loved the Blue Water Bridge boardwalk and spent time traveling to the kids' ball games and academic competitions. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and had a great love for his country.
Dean is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay, his daughter Ronda (Ryan) Meere, son Dean (Michelle) Malcolm, grandchildren Porter, Olivia, Sophia, Keagan and Payton, father William D. Malcolm Sr., brothers Mark and Loren, special nephews, Tanner and Elliott. Others include many aunts/uncles, cousins, in-laws and families. Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Lorna, and brother, Leslie.
