Mr. William "Bill" Draves' Obituary
William “Bill” Draves, age 58 of Casco Twp., died September 5, 2014. Bill was born July 13, 1956 in St. Clair to Palmer and Helen Draves. Bill was a member of the former United Methodist Church, Marine City. He was a lifetime area dairy farmer and owner/operator of Luckycrest Dairy Farm in Casco. He was also a member of the Michigan Milk Producers Association and the Holstein Association and DHIA.
He is survived by his wife; Linda Draves, son; Jordan Draves, mother; Helen Draves, siblings; Carol (Greg) Diachenko, Donna (Ed) Wojtysiak, Barb Czarnecki (Richard Lutz), Debbie (Brian) Shinavier, Diane (Glenn) Schmincke and Ken (Larisa) Draves and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Palmer Draves in 1999.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday September 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Columbus Bible Church, 1770 Palms Rd. Columbus Twp. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to service.
