William D. "Bill" Bastian's Obituary
William D. “Bill” Bastian, age 72, of St. Clair passed away December 20, 2025. He was born May 20, 1953 in Detroit to the late Donald and Eleanor Bastian.
On December 20, 1985 Bill married Julie Nease. Bill was a truck driver for many years, starting with a business of his own and later working for and retiring from Chrysler Corp.
Among his many hobbies, Bill enjoyed Harley Davidson and Indian mortorcycles and was a member of the Roman Wheels Motorcycle Club. He loved to spend his quiet time at his lake house fishing, boating and listening to blues music.
Bill was a very easygoing, fun loving, hard working, instantly lovable and an amazing friend.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Julie Bastian and three nieces and their families along with dear relatives and close friends.
He is predeceased by his son; Cyril Bastian
Brother, Thomas and sister, Karen.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
