Wayne "Mike" Schulz's Obituary
Wayne "Mike" Schulz, age 80, of Marysville, formerly of Richmond, passed away at home August 15, 2025
surrounded by his family. He was born March 29, 1945 in Mt. Clemens to the late Hans and Rita Schulz.
He proudly served his country with the U. S. Army. He married Corrine Buckler in 1972. She preceded him in death in 1982.
On October 7, 1988 he married Lori Schmidt at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond.
Mike enjoyed golfing, watching football, loved to go hunting and sitting by a campfire with family and friends. Most of all he enjoyed attending his grandkids sporting and musical events.
He is survived by his wife; Lori Schulz, his children; Kristen (Matthew) Janssen, Brian Schulz, Nicholas (Melissa) Schulz and Erika Paige.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Griffin, Hunter, Connor, Isabella and Joseph, sisters; Denise Patton, Annie Phillips and sister in-law; Clara Schulz.
He was preceded in death by siblings; Pat Juran, Robert Schulz and Marcia Schulz.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29 at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, Port Huron. Visiting will be Thursday, August 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and at church one hour prior to mass. Memorials may be made to family wishes.
