In the grand scheme of things we had what you would call a very brief encounter with Wanda, but the memories from that encounter will be remembered for a lifetime. Back in 1984 my husband was involved in bringing hot air balloons to Capac for the Capac Days Festival and it was our good fortune to have made Sue's acquaintance through that connection. To our delight, one of the wonderful perks of becoming acquainted with Sue, was meeting her "Marvelous Mom," as my husband so affectionately called her. We had a ball with "Mom" and Sue, both in the hot air balloon and in the chase vehicle, and got together for dinner off and on afterward until work duties moved us from the area and we lost contact. I have photos of my son at age three catching his very first fish off the break wall in their back yard. I'm saddened to see that Sue has also passed away, but I'm very grateful that the brief moment in time we spent with these wonderful ladies has made lifelong memories for my family. My sincere condolences to everyone who knew and loved them. ~Cathy Lukovich##imported-begin##Larry & Cathy Lukovich##imported-end##
