Wallace Wesley Stilwell's Obituary
Wallace Wesley Stilwell, age 85, of St. Clair, died March 3, 2017. He was born July 1, 1931, in Detroit to the late Gerald and Ruby Stilwell. On December 24, 1953, Wallace married Marjorie Taylor. She preceded him in death in 2005.
Wallace served his country honorably during the Korean War with the U.S. Navy. He was a tool maker for the Chrysler Corp for 47 years. Wallace was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and the St. Clair Community Singers. He also enjoyed competing in the Senior Olympics.
He is survived by his children, Ruth Ann Richards, Debbie Franz, Barb (Richard) Hahlen, Wallace Stilwell Jr, Michael (Michelle) Stilwell, Patrick (Jody) Stilwell and Sue (Richard) Kitchen and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Wallace was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Stilwell; son in law, Eddie Franz and grand-daughter, Bethany Richards.
Funeral service will be Tuesday March 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment with military honors will be in Hillside Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.
