Virginia M. Wolfe's Obituary
Virginia M. Wolfe, age 98, of East China Twp., passed away peacefully at home with her family on August 17, 2018. She was born March 21, 1920 to the late George and Edna Williams. On October 1, 1938 she married Herbert L. Wolfe, he predeceased her on May 22, 1995. Virginia loved her family, especially her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also had a very special place in her heart for her dogs. Virginia’s family will always remember her for her giving and generous spirit. She was also a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (John) Lavely; grandsons, Scott (Tanya) Lavely, Jason (Brandi) Lavely; great grandchildren, Jacobi, Elizabeth, and Taven Lavely; special nieces, Carol Lee Lengjel and Bunny Wilson; special cousin, Pat Bellingham; friends, Gloria Schlett, Janice Harries, and Cindy Wisdom.
She is preceded in death by her great grandson, Tanner Lavely.
A funeral mass will be Wednesday, August 22, at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. prior to the mass. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, August 21, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00- 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to wishes of the family.
