Virginia C. Simmons' Obituary
Virginia C. Simmons, age 83, of St. Clair died Tuesday August 31, 2021. Virginia was born June 28, 1938 to the late Rolland and Gladys (Doane) Kotzke in Buel Township. She married Leroy “Joe” Simmons on July 27, 1957. Virginia worked at Marmac for many years and retired from T1 Automotive.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leroy “Joe” Simmons; two sons, Charles (Cecila) Simmons and Walter (Kathy) Simmons; two granddaughters, Kristi and Kati Simmons and three great grandchildren, Makenzie, Jonathon and Mallory Hogsett. She is also survived by two brothers Roland (Isabell) Kotzke Jr., Jim Kotzke and one sister, Ruth (David) Duckworth.
Virginia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (better known as “NaNa”) who loved to crochet, do word puzzles, draw, write and ride her motorcycle.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
