Mrs. Virginia "Gin" Kammer's Obituary
Virginia “Gin” Kammer, age 76, of St. Clair, died May 18, 2014. She was born March 2, 1938 in Richmond to the late William and Catherine Singer. On October 5, 1957 Virginia married Clarence “Archie” Kammer in Richmond.
Virginia was a Licensed Practical Nurse working at several area hospitals and lastly working at the St. Clair County Health Department for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Clarence “Archie” Kammer, son, Kevin Kammer and daughter, Heidi Lee-Kammer, grandchildren, Austin, Ethan and Madelyn Lee and brother, Bill (Caroline) Singer.
She was predeceased by a brother, Norbert Singer.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held Thursday May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
