Mr. Vincent J. Artman's Obituary
Vincent J. Artman, age 84, of St. Clair, died January 15, 2015. Vincent was born April 24, 1930 in Port Huron to the late John and Anna Artman. On October 4, 1950 he married Bertha Trumble in St. Clair. She preceded him in death in 2008. Vince was a butcher for many years at many area meat markets and he loved to cook.
He is survived by his daughters; Kathy (Gary) Becker, Elaine (Gary) McCloud, Marlene (Harry) Kimmel and Charlene Millard, grandchildren; Brandon (Candie), Jennifer (Vinny), Jason, Carl (Tifa), Joseph (Kat), Jeff, Shawn (Tiffany), Ashley, Heather and Mindy, great grandchildren; Ethan and Owen Becker, Alexis and Courtney Henry, Ella, Drake, Eli, Zoey and Erin Kimmel, Hayden Moses and Hannah McCloud, siblings; Jack (Barb) Artman, Bob (Kathy) Artman, Barb Barr, Shirley (Leonard) Jackson and Kay (Phil) Lehvonen, brothers in law and sisters in law; John Weston, Mary and Donna Artman, Kathleen Haligowski and Norma and Ray Oles and many nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by a son; Vincent Artman Jr., son in law; James Millard, siblings; Ted, Wilfred, Gerald, Joan, Bill, and Betty and in laws; Linda and Keith.
A funeral mass will be Tuesday January 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Monday 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
