Victorine N. "Vicky" Watripont's Obituary
Victorine N. "Vicky" Watripont, age 83, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully May 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 17, 1934 in Detroit to the late Xaveer and Julia Praet. She married her husband of 66 years, John Watripont on February 16, 1952.
She belong to the Women's Century Club and the Eagles, where she enjoyed playing darts. What she enjoyed the most were her grandchildren and spending her winters in Florida.
She is survived by her husband; John Watripont, her children; Cynthia Watripont and Larry (Mickey) Watripont. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Sean (Jenny) Watripont, Jeanette (Brent) Moeggenborg, great-grandchildren; Benjamin, Graham, Caitlin, Jackson, and Leah, her sister; Rosalie (William) Messinger, sister in-law; Jill Watripont and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother in-law; Etienne "Gene" Watripont.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and at church from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to mass. A rosary will be said on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
