Victoria Jo Cobb's Obituary
Victoria Jo Cobb, age 72, of Venice Beach, Florida beloved sister of John Patrick
(Laura Ann) Cobb and Nancy Ann Hancock of Venice Beach and Nanette Marie
(David) Miller, of Dallas, Texas, and loving aunt of John, Justin, Andrew, and
Patrick. She was predeceased by her parents John Earl and Avis Marie Cobb.
Born September 28, 1950 in Clare, Michigan, Victoria graduated St. Clair High
School in 1968 and attended Ferris State University. Always interested in the arts,
Victoria was active in the St. Clair Theatre Guild and helped establish its John and
Avis Cobb Memorial Scholarship Fund. An adventurous spirit, Victoria studied Tai
Chi under Master Wan SuJian, traveling several times to China, and ultimately
publishing a book on QiGong, an ancient Chinese healing art, and established her
own holistic healing practice, LightBodyTherapy.
Victoria passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023, leaving this earthly realm on
Chinese New Year, in keeping with her belief that there is an appointed time for
everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.
