Mrs. Vickie Lee Mead's Obituary
Vickie Lee Mead, age 66, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
She was born July 29, 1947 to the late Russell and Joyce Whittaker.
Vickie graduated from St. Clair High School in 1965. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Mead, on October 16, 1965. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1994.
Vickie loved working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Tamra (Jeff) Matthews of Columbus Twp. and their daughter, Amanda. Her son, Bob (Lori) Mead of St. Clair and their sons, Bobby, Josh and Logan and son, Kurt (Denise) Mead of St. Clair and their daughters Morgan and Madison. She is also survived by her brothers, Don (Ann) Whittaker of St. Clair, David (Mary) Whittaker of East China Twp. and her sister, Lisa (Jack) Horn of Washington, Iowa and sister in law, Kathi Mead and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers in law, Alan and Dennis Mead and father in law and mother in law, Don and Isla Mead.
Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends on Saturday May 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
