Verda L. Walters' Obituary
Verda L. Walters, age 96, of St. Clair Twp., died August 1, 2014. She was born May 23, 1918 in Port Huron to the late James and Pearl Tarzwell. On October 21, 1939 Verda married Raymond Walters. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2007.
Verda enjoyed sharing Bible truths with everyone she met through the ministry of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her children; Charles (Mari-Lynn) Walters, Gayle King and Luann (Goldie) Thomas, grandchildren; Rory, Caleb, Randy and Brandon Walters, Scott, Timothy and Carey King, Kristy Rhodes, Hannah King, Michael, Gregg and David Thomas, great grandchildren; Kyle and Mary Walters, Jacquelyn Papp, Tyler and Kyle King, Jamie and Amanda King, Courtney Budzyn, Kayla Rhodes, Joshua, Nicholas and Taylor Thomas, brother; James (Yvonne) Tarzwell, sister; Ilene (Merle) Rushton, sister in law; Irene Walters and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by six siblings.
A Memorial Talk will be Saturday August 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, St. Clair. Private interment was in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
