Valerie Anne Forest's Obituary
Valerie Anne Forest, age 66, of Casco Twp., passed away peacefully in her home on April 9, 2023. Valerie was born February 26, 1957 in Detroit to the late Morley and Alice Forest.
Valerie graduated from Marine City High School in 1975. She was an accomplished vocalist and artist, sharing her talents throughout Southeastern Michigan. Valerie was part owner of Riverside Spline and Gear of Marine City, where she served as vice president of sales for many years. Valerie also had a great passion for animals, especially horses. She loved gardening and enjoyed all that nature offered. Valerie also had a keen eye for decorating. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her siblings, Wayne (Sue) Forest, Dean Forest and Aaron (Lisa) Forest; nieces and nephews, Jason, Alison, Luke, Ben, Emma and Cole; great nieces and great nephews, Audrey, Brady and Lainey and her beloved dogs, Spirit and Diamond. Valerie was preceded in death by her niece, Amy Forest.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Private family interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Thursday April 13th from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service at Young Funeral Home.
