Timothy Sams' Obituary
Timothy John Sams, age 66, of Marine City, passed away on November 2, 2025. He was born on December 25, 1958, to Joann and the late John Sams.
Tim is survived by his beloved daughters, Jessica Lucarelli and Rocky (Tiffany) Sams; his cherished grandchildren, Ella Jean, Brielle, Kyra, and Kameron; his mother Joann and his dear siblings, Robin (Bob) McKinnon, Dan (Therese) Sams, Mickie Holowitz, and Joe Sams. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, lifelong best friend Dave (Annette) Decker, as well as many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Sams, and his daughter, Stephanie (Bill) LaFave.
Tim enjoyed watching TV, spending time with his cat Buddy, and traveling up north to the cabin. A lifelong sports and racing enthusiast, he played hockey in his younger years, loved hunting, was a part of the American Motorcycle Club, drag racing, sidecar racing with his brother and gardening. Above all, Tim lived for his role as a father to his girls and later as “Papa” to his grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
