Thomas James Williamson's Obituary
Thomas James Williamson, of Marysville went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 7, 2024. He was born January 4, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to the late George and Julie (Manuel) Williamson. He married Cheryl Gamble on May 19, 1984.
He worked as a groundskeeper at St. John’s Hospital for 20 years. He then became a cabinet and counter installer for 10 years. He loved carpentry and built many pieces of beautiful furniture for Cheryl and other family members throughout the years. He also loved to arm wrestle with his many nieces and nephews!
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Helen (Pete) Kelly, Paul Williamson, Margaret (Nick) Crawley, Tim Williamson and Cathie Tennant. In-laws Judy Williamson, Dan Lepish, Denise Foote, Robert (Carol) Gamble, Claudia Hansen, Laurie Krantz, Craig (Lori) Gamble, Paul Gamble and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Robert Williamson, Diane Johnson, Mike Williamson, Patti Lepish. In-laws Dean Tennant, Chuck Krantz, Nephew Sean Johnson and niece Brandy Crawley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 22, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Light of Christ Lutheran Church Marysville, Michigan. Reverand Alaan Schweiger officiating. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Franklin Avenue Mission, Flint, MI or Light of Christ Lutheran Church, Marysville, MI.
