Thomas D. Stier's Obituary
Tom Stier, age 67, of St. Clair, died April 1, 2014. He was born June 24, 1946 in St.Clair to the late Joseph "Pit" and Rita Stier.
Tom served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Dianna Allen on September 13, 1968 in St.Clair. He worked in the family construction business. After retirement Tom enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and watching sporting events.
He is survived by his wife; Dianna Stier, daughters; Dianna (Jim) Meyers, Lori (Paul) Acciavatti, Tammy (Carlo) Farrugia, grandchildren; Jenna and Kara Meyers, Vincent, Nathan , and Mary Ann Acciavatti, Gabrielle and Adriana Farrugia.
He is also survived by his siblings; Don (Gail) Stier, Rita (Gerald) Heath, Jake (Carol) Stier, James (Emily) Stier, Joseph (Donna) Stier, Mike Stier, Mark (Sue) Stier, Gloria (Mike "Byrd") Bennett, Janet (Fred) Robbins and many, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ann and Carol Stier and brothers, Sam and Pat Stier. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the services.
