Thomas Carl (Tim) Armstrong's Obituary
Thomas Carl (Tim) Armstrong, age 83, of St. Clair, passed away March 26, 2024. He was born on the Armstrong farm on Division Rd. on March 25, 1941.
Tim married Susan Schwartz on August 3, 1963 and they were happily married for 60 years. He proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1961 to 1967. Tim was a member of Operating Engineers and American Legion Post #382.
Tim was a collector of antique cars, which started with his 59’ Ford, and he loved to show them to his friends. His passion later grew to include a collection of antique tractors. He once put a 396 Chevy motor in a Farmall tractor. When he drove it thru downtown St. Clair the police stopped him and told him to take it home.
Tim is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Michael (Julie) and Timothy; grandsons, Cody (Harley), Todd, and Ryan (Zoey). He was predeceased by his father, Frank; brother, Frank Jr.; sister, Joyce and daughter in law Jessica.
