Theresa Marks' Obituary
Theresa R. Marks, age 92, formerly of Allen Park, Mich. passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010. she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Marks and her children, Maureen T. Murphy and Michael F. Marks. Mrs. Marks graduated from St. John's University, NY with a BS degree in nursing education. As a registered nurse, she worked at Oakwood Hospital, as school nurse in Melvindale, and was a nursing instructor at Henry Ford Community College. she was a loving mother who valued family. She is survived by her children, Thomas and Sharon Marks, Anita Heath, Richard and Donna Marks, Christopher and Denise Marks, Col. Stephen, MD and Judith Marks, Dr. Karen and Daniel O'Rourke; daughters in law, Judi Marks and Mariko Marks; son in law, Richard Murphy; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 29th at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for friends and family. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home.
