Theresa A. Kreusel's Obituary
Theresa A. Kreusel, age 93, of China Twp., passed away April 9, 2021. She was born November 9, 1927 in Mt. Clemens to the late Bernard and Ruth Kliemann. On June 28, 1947 Theresa married Alden J. Kreusel. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1981.
Theresa was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Altar Society. Theresa made holidays with her family a tradition, hosting many large gatherings cherishing her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts, jigsaw puzzles and snacking on sweets.
She is survived by her children, Alden J. Jr. (Joyce) Kreusel, Frank T. (Nancy) Kreusel, Dianne (Ed) Neiman, Gary M. “Squeak” (Sue) Kreusel and Peggy M. (Jim) Markel; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Achatz and Pat (Joe) Kreusel; sisters in law, Joanne Kliemann, Theresa Anne Brouckheart, Mary Margaret Sehl and Dolores Huber and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by many loving brothers, sister, brothers in law and sisters in law.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday April 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Additional visitation at church Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to mass. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair. Theresa’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family graciously thanks Blue Water Hospice and River Bend Assisted Living for their compassionate care.
