Theodore "Ted" Plane's Obituary
Theodore "Ted" Plane, age 89, of St.Clair, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away October 21, 2014 in the comfort of his home. He was born on December 1, 1924 in Royal Oak to the late Winfred and Dorothy Plane. He married Barbarann Stromer on August 12, 1950.
He was an award winning sales representative for the Flintkote Company. He enjoyed an early retirement to Atlanta, MI where he enjoyed the northern woods. He also enjoyed serving as commander of the VFW post in Atlanta. He also belonged to the Rod & Gun Club in Atlanta.
He is survived by his wife; Barbarann Plane, children; Debra (Randy) Dunkel and Jeff (Tammy) Plane. He is also survived by his grandsons; Forrest (Lestina) Dunkel and Jenhis (Tonya) Dunkel, brother; Eugene (Nan) Plane, brother in law; Al Chadick, along with his nieces and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister; Shirley Chadick.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, St. Clair.
Private interment will follow at Roseland Park Cemetery, Royal Oak.
