Tamela Ann Recor (Volkman)'s Obituary
Tamela Ann Recor (Volkman), age 61, of Columbus Twp., passed away on February 29, 2024 after a long illness. She was born on May 1, 1962. Tamela was a graduate from Marine City High School. She worked in housekeeping at River District Hospital, East China for several years. She went on to open her own dog grooming business, Town and Country Dog Grooming, in Casco Twp. A business in which she operated for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing various crafts, especially for holidays and birthdays. Tamela and her mother, Peggy would often go to craft shows together.
She is survived by her children, Melissa (Mike) Malcolm, Cory (Amber Blumenthal) Hopp; grandchildren, Zachary, Will, Hazel; siblings, Donald (Sandy Babisz) Volkman, Bill (Billielynn) Volkman, Krista Recor; nephew, Mark (Julie) Recor; nieces Andrea Nugent, Brooke Volkman, Ashley Volkman, and many other nieces and family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ike Recor; mother, Peggy (Don) Volkman; brother, Mark Recor.
