Mrs. Sylvia Pieprzak's Obituary
Sylvia Pieprzak, age 84, of China Twp., died October 25, 2012. Sylvia was born September 1, 1928 in Detroit to the late Jacob and Mary Poturniak.
She graduated from Richmond High School. On May 6, 1950 Sylvia married Theodore Pieprzak, he preceded her in death May 14, 2005.
Sylvia was actively involved throughout her working career with her husband as owners of T.R. Pieprzak Company, Inc. Her interests included spending time at the cottage, fishing, gardening, traveling and dancing. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sundowners Camaping Group and the Snow Snoopers.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law; James and Patricia Pieprzak and Terry and Dawn Pieprzak, grandchildren; Gregory (Tina) Pieprzak, Jody (Andy) Skonieczny, Heather (Joe) Oles and Joel (Amber) Pieprzak, great grandchildren; Cooper, Claire, Christopher Pieprzak, Avery and Jack Skonieczny and Addison and Joseph Oles III. She was preceded in death by a sister Beatrice Prior.
Funeral services will be Monday October 29th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Saturday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home China Twp. and Monday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass. A rosary will be said Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice or St. Mary's Organ Fund.
