Sydney Machuta's Obituary
Sydney Machuta, age 24, of Algonac passed away unexpectedly February 2, 2021. Beloved daughter to Dan and Wendy Machuta. She was born February 1, 1997. Sydney graduated from Algonac High School in 2015. After graduating her love of animals guided her to becoming a Groomer Tech at PetSmart.
Sydney grew up and spent a lot of time at the cottage on Lake St. Clair boating and enjoying the water. she was Very Athletic playing volleyball and basketball for Algonac High, Sydney loved her animals especially her 2 dogs, 3 cats and pet snake. She cherished being an aunt to her niece and nephews, Sydney was best described as a free spirit, compassionate with a big heart for everyone.
She is survived by her parents, Dan and Wendy Machuta; sister, Brittney (Jake Jeroue) Machuta; grandmother, Betty Lou Smith; nephews, Jaxon Jeroue, Colton Jeroue; niece, Lilly Jeroue, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sydney is preceded in death by her grandparents, Stan Gotinsky, Tony and EJaye Machuta.
A memorial service will be held Friday February 5, 2021 at 7 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
