Mrs. Suzanne "Suzie" M. Sopfe's Obituary
Suzanne "Suzie" Sopfe, age 66, of China Twp., died October 28, 2012. She was born June 4, 1946 in Detroit to the late Clinton and Nellie Holmes.
On August 14, 1965 Suzie Holmes married Dave Sopfe. Suzie was a bus driver for East China School District for 26 years. She enjoyed taking trips in the family motor home, woodworking, golfing, bowling, bingo and especially loved her time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Dave Sopfe, children; John C. (Debby) Sopfe and Carrie (Greg) Belkiewicz, grandchildren; Ryan (Channing), Gina, Aren, McKenzie and Sienna, great grandchildren; Ellison, Addilyn and Isaiah, brother; Michael (Barbara) Holmes, sister; Judy (Gene) Reynolds and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday November 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
