Susan Beth Schaller's Obituary
Susan Beth Schaller, age 60, of St. Clair, passed away June 19, 2023. She was born September 4, 1962 in Detroit. On June 9, 1989, Susan married David Schaller. They enjoyed 34 years of marriage and a total of 37 years together.
Susan held multiple jobs throughout her working career, including factory work and housekeeping. The last 6 years she was employed with Mallard’s Landing and loved cleaning for the residents. In the spring you could find Susan planting flowers around her house and helping David with their yard work all summer long.
Susan will be fondly remembered for her love of family, her kindness to everyone, and her beautiful soul. Her true passion in life was being a mom, wife and grammie. Spoiling grandchildren was her specialty. Susan will be dearly missed by her family, friends and everyone that loved her. She left us far too soon.
She is survived by her husband, David Schaller; children, David Schaller II and Holly (Gavin) Menzies; grandchildren, Oliver and Fiona Menzies; parents, Jim and Alice Woodward; siblings, Tammi (Mike) Hussey, Debbie (Keith) Nichols and Jim II (Julie) Woodward; mother in law, Barbara Schaller; in laws, Vicki and Louis Roe, Dan Schaller and Mike Schaller, nieces and nephews and of course her dog, Maggie.
Susan was predeceased by her father in law, Frank Schaller; best friend, Sue Sheden and grand-dogs, Zeppelin and Candie.
Visiting hours are Friday June 23rd, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Saturday visitation 9:30 to 10:15 at Young Funeral Home.
Saturday morning prayers will begin at 10:15 at Young Funeral Home followed by a procession to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair for a 11:00 a.m. mass.
