Susan Bostwick's Obituary
Sue Bostwick passed away on January 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving friends. She was born on March 7, 1943 to the late Raymond and Fern Bostwick. A life-long resident of St. Clair, Sue grew up on the family farm where she developed a true love of animals. An avid horsewoman, she was very active in the breeding and showing of Arabian horses and could be found at the horse shows where she enjoyed sharing her expertise with others. Later in life, Sue enjoyed success as a breeder and exhibitor of Maine Moon cats. Sue's greatest joy came from her German Shepherd dogs. She considered them her family and rarely left home without her dogs. Her other interests included bowling, cooking, sports and Bible study. Sue is survived by her sister, two nephews, many friends, and a variety of "fur-babies." She was greatly loved and will be missed by all. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair. Visiting will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass. Urn interment will take place at Richmond Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to friends wishes.
