Stuart C. Laeder's Obituary
Stuart C. Laeder, age 91, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2021 after a brief illness. He married Susie Drozd on December 2, 1950, who preceded him in death on May 8, 2018. Stuart was a second-generation linesman, who worked for the Detroit Edison for 45 Years. He was a member of IEBW Local 17 union. In his spare time Stuart was very active. He enjoyed photography, trap shooting, trips to Florida during the winter months. Later in life he enjoyed making jewelry. Stuart was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a longtime member of several area sportsman’s clubs.
He is survived by his children, Karen Woolman, Bruce Laeder, Beverly (Dennis) Fritchie, Marty (Sue) Laeder, Brian Laeder, 8 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren; brothers, D. James Laeder, Robert (Linda) Laeder.
