I was saddened, when I heard of Steve's passing. Michigan football lost a great Fan!
When I packed my bag to head to Michigan, I grudgingly grabbed my swimsuit. At my age putting on swimwear and prancing in public isn't my favorite thing to do. But I knew there would be a gathering at the pool with fun and beer. When the Zach's get together that's how it goes. Then it hit me that a major ringleader for the Zack's would be missing. My crazy little brother Steve.
He was always the first one to start the "Let's head to the pool" cry. He never grew up; he was our Peter Pan (much like my father) always ready with a joke and horseplay. He was UNCLE BEVE! Doing cannon balls and making things fun for all his nieces and nephews. He constantly asked my kids "Who's your favorite uncle?" They all knew the correct answer, Uncle Beve.
He had a running joke with all of us siblings that he was my mom's favorite. We all knew that he was because he was her baby. But it was still fun arguing with him though.
It is hard for me to imagine the world without Uncle Beve, "favorite uncle and son". My heart goes out to you Renee and Nolan. We will all be there for you whenever you need us. We will share your grief but also the cherished great memories we all made together. See you very soon. Much love, Mary Joy
Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. Steve was a wonderful guy always ready to talk and have a few laughs. He will be sadly missed by all. Way way too young. God works in mysterious ways.
I grew up with Steve. He was "Beaver" back then, the 3rd Street neighborhood. Always laughing, smiling, mischievous (in a hilarious way!) Always fun to be around. Taken way too soon. He will always be a part of the 3rd Street group. He's our Brother, too. He was, and always be one of us, now he's looking over us, one of God's Angels.
Rest in peace, Beav.

So sorry for Stephen passing prayers being sent to the family
Steve was always very easy going, caring and kind! He was easy to talk to and had a warm heart. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. We are praying that his family will remember all the good times they shared and know how much Steve loved them. He will always be in our hearts.
