Stephanie Marie Sams' Obituary
Stephanie Marie Sams, age 37, of Marine City, passed away with her daughter by her side on April 1, 2025. She was born on October 4, 1987 to Timothy Sams and Annette Schwartz. Stephanie was a graduate of Riverview East; class of 2005. She met Bill LaFave in 2007 and they have enjoyed 18 years of love and companionship. Stephanie was an outdoors enthusiast. She loved being barefoot out in the sunshine. Stephanie found peace in being on the beach and by the water. She went to various beaches around the state. It didn’t matter where the beach was, as long as she had her feet in the sand, she was happy. She enjoyed camping trips all over the state. The park in Ruby, was her and the families main get-away. Stephanie also liked the trips up north, barbequing, and truly cherished the time she spent with her family. Family meant everything to her. She was a passionate Lions fan, who never missed watching a game. Stephanie especially loved her cat Oscar Kitty Kitty and 2 dogs, Iris and Little Dog. She was a very big reader in her spare time, you would always catch her reading on her tablet or her hard cover books. Stephanie was a generous person, who had a knack for caring for kids. She looked after many children around the neighborhood. Her selflessness and compassionate heart will be missed by all who knew her.
