Stephanie Brozowski's Obituary
Stephanie Brozowski, age 84, of Columbus Twp., died peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
Stephanie was born on November 13, 1930 in Detroit, to the late Teofil and Stella Kardasz. She married John C. Brozowski on June 14, 1952, in Richmond.
Stephanie was employed for many years at Diamond Crystal Salt Company in St.Clair. She enjoyed several years as Assistant to the President at Woman's Life Insurance Society in Port Huron, and as a sales associate at Susan's Hallmark in Richmond. Stephanie loved polka music, especially the Big Joe Polka Show and Mollie B Polka Party. She was a lifelong member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond.
She is survived by her husband; John, daughter; Therese (Stephen) Timmons, sons; Dan and Larry (Frances) Brozowski. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Evan (Lisa), Melissa, and Kendall Timmons, and Pamela and Matthew Brozowski, and brother; Frank (Pat) Kardasz. She was preceded in death by her sister; Sophie (Ted) Urbaniak and brother; Eugene Kardasz.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with a rosary said at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at chruch prior to mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Stephanie's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
