Mrs. Stella M. Reichle's Obituary
Stella Marie Reichle died Monday, September 3, 2012 in St. John’s River District Hospital under the care of Hospice and surrounded by several family members. Stella was born on May 2, 1915, the third of twelve children born to George and Emma Stein in Atlanta, MI. She loved spending time with her family and friends playing games, especially cards, sewing and needlework and playing golf. Stella is a member of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church and Eastern Star.
She is survived by children; Carol (Robert) Joyner, Rebecca Frydel, Sharon (Clayton) Loehn and Floyd “Ted” (Sybil) Reichle, sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and her extended family; care givers, staff and friends at Mallards Landing where she most recently resided. She is also survived by sisters; Dorothy (Ed) Hilborn of Sandusky, MI and Ethel Sequin of Florida.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Floyd and Gerald Reichle, son John, stepson Dwight and eleven brothers and sisters.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted Friday October 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Marine City.
The family will greet friends at 10:45 a.m. in the narthes of the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Martin’s Lutheran Church or Hospice. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
