Mrs. Shirley Mae Sadlowski's Obituary
Shirley Mae Sadlowski, age 86, of Marine City, died February 22, 2013. She was born May 26, 1926 in Detroit to the late Norman and Lynda Zweng. On September 15, 1945 Shirley married Walter Sadlowski. He preceded her in death in 2007. Shirley worked for 27 years at the Detroit Gasket. She also loved her years working on the farm, baking, polka dancing and having lunch with her friends at McDonalds. She also enjoyed her time spent up north.
She is survived by her son; James Sadlowski, grandchildren; Jason (Melissa) Sadlowski, Marcus (Stephanie) Sadlowski, Ann Marie (Phil) Bubin, Joseph (Amy) Pawlosky and Jarek Sadlowski, great grandchildren; Reeva, Ava, Bella, Kane, Stacy and Miranda, and a sister; Phyllis Rowe.
Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter; Dianne Pawlosky, sister; Dorothy Cahill and brother; Robert Zweng.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Church, Marine City. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
