I’m so very sad. Shirley was so fun. I’ll miss her funny bar stories, playing cards for sure, her teasing me about stuffing my Hubby with egg sandwiches and how much she loved my grandaughters when they lived right by her. My little Laylah really loved to perform for Shirley. I’ll always have the honor of me and Shirl having the highest one hand Euchre score ever at card club. She will be terribly missed by me and my family. Rest now dear friend.
My years of being Shirley's classmate, paperboy, and lifelong friend will always be treasured. From our elementary years at East China through high school (and years after) we always had fun times. We both just attended our 50th class reunion and it is hard to believe that our 62 years together in school taught us so much (lol). You will always have a special place in my Jungle Town heart. Forever a friend!
