Mrs. Shirley Ann Kelly's Obituary
Shirley Ann Kelly, age 86, of Rose City, formerly of Richmond, died January 4, 2013. She was born August 25, 1926 in St. Clair, the 8th child of 14 children to the late Louis and Florence Zimmer. On May 17, 1947 Shirley married Hugh Kelly. He preceded her in death September 13, 1996.
Shirley was formerly employed at Richmond Lumber Yard, Richmond and Robertson and Carpenter CPA, West Branch. She was an avid bowler.
She is survived by children; Penny L. Kelly of Lawton, Mich., Pamela S. (Robert) Mettert of Salem, Oregon, Michael H. (Anita) Kelly of West Branch, Carrie J. (Patrick) Forro of Bainbridge Isl., Washington and Patrick H. Kelly of Rose City, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, daughter in law; Judi Kelly, siblings; Louis (Maureen) Zimmer of California, Ross (Lorraine) Zimmer of Port Huron, Patricia (William) Sprader of Richmond, Rosemary Swiecilo of West Branch, Richard (Marian) Zimmer of Arizona and Judy (Dale) Wiley of St. Clair and many nieces and nephews. She was prececded in death by a son Timothy L. Kelly, siblings; Alberta Hicks, Dorothy Johnson, Eileen Boucher, Gerald, Mary Lou and Herbert Zimmer and Jean Robbins.
Funeral services are Saturday January 12th at 12:00 noon at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
