Sheila (Goodnough) Schott's Obituary
Sheila D. (Goodnough) Schott, age 75, of Port Huron passed away on April 25, 2013. She was born in Jackson, MI on July 7, 1937 to the late Richard and Fern Updyke. She married Kenneth Goodnough on August 6, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1992. She then married Nick Schott on June 12, 2004. He preceded her in death in 2012. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She worked for Foster Grandparents and loved to play bingo.
She is survived by her children; Dan (Mary) Goodnough, Debbie ( Angela Sarazin) Goodnough, Vernon Goodnough, Robert Goodnough, George Goodnough, step-children; Kenneth (Billie Jo) Goodnough, Jr., Jim (Sherry) Goodnough, Tina Fuller and Dan (Bessie) Burtch, 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-law; Margaret (Gary) Potrykus, brothers; Mr.and Mrs. Clarence Updyke and Gerry (Cindy) Updyke, along with countless nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brother-in-law; Harold (Betty) Goodnough and Stan Goodnough.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30th at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. www.youngcolonial.com
