Scott Frederick Biewer's Obituary
Scott Frederick Biewer, age 68, of St. Clair, passed away following a long illness on July 2, 2025. Scott was born August 13, 1956 in St. Clair to the late Frederick and Martha Biewer.
The majority of Scott’s working career was with the family business, John A. Biewer Sporting Goods, where he held many different positions. Spending time with family while boating, fishing and vacationing at the family cottage is what Scott looked forward to most. He also held memberships to the St. Clair Knights of Columbus and the Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club.
Scott is survived by his wife, Cindy Biewer; children, Ryan (Jen) Biewer, Gregory (Lisa) Biewer and Bethany (Steve) Oatten; grandchildren, Jillian, Annabelle and Kinsley; brothers in law and sisters in law, Sue Biewer, Tammy and John Pyrzewski, Stanley and Mary Weglarz, Tina Thrift, Jody Weglarz, Renee and Charles James and Heidi Weglarz and many nieces and nephews.
Scott was predeceased by his sister, Bonnie (Mark) Van Hecke and brother, Jim Biewer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10th at 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home.
