Mrs. Sandy Malcolm's Obituary
Sandy Malcolm, age 59, of Algonac, died September 3, 2014. She was born March 9, 1955 to the late Larry and Arvilla Russell. On November 29, 1973 Sandy married David Malcolm in Menominee, Michigan. Sandy worked in the area as a home care nurse for 15 years. The past five years she spent remodeling homes. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved crocheting, embroidering, ceramics along with many other crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years David Malcolm, children; Keith Malcolm, Kevin Malcolm and Kyle (Devona) Malcolm, grandchildren; Cecilia, Clint and Amber, siblings; Gary Russell, Darlene Silvers, Claudia Contrino and Barbara Nates, mother in law; Barb Malcolm and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Arvilla (Bunny) Russell. Cremation has taken place and a private family remembrance will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Michigan Humane Society, 30300 Telegraph Rd., Suite 220, Bingham Farms, MI 48025. Arrangements are by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
