Sandra Woytta's Obituary
Sandra Marie (Yoda) Woytta, age 61, of St. Clair, was called home on May 30, 2010 following a eight year battle with breast cancer. She was born April 30, 1949 in Detroit to Albert and Mary Matako.
Sandy worked at St. John's River District Hospital for many years. She served the children of Immanuel Lutheran Church in every way possible for 30 years. Sandy enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, reading, painting, and traveling. She especially cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Laura Woytta (Mike Clark) and Rob (Jen) Woytta, grandchildren; Michael, Haley, Grace, and Nicholas. Siblings; Andy (Cindy) Matako, Tom (Diane) Matako, Sue Matako, Janet (Dean) Nichols, and Mary (Pete) Van Alst, sister in law; Jeannie Matako, several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother; Gary Matako and parents Albert and Mary Matako.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Friday June 4, 2010 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church prior to the service.
