Ruth A. Schmidt's Obituary
Ruth A. Schmidt, age 78, of St. Clair passed away May 1, 2018. She was born November 18, 1939 to the late John and Mollie Schuman. On September 23, 1987 Ruth married Merle Schmidt. Ruth worked for Diamond Crystal Salt Co for over 25 years and was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Merle Schmidt; daughters, Sherry Harms and Cathy (Steven) Wittbrodt; granddaughters, Kristie Harms (James Morgan) and Carlie Harms (Jeff Dell) and in-laws, Don and Janet Schmidt and Judy and LeRoy Schneider.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 4th at 10 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Thursday 2 to 8 p.m.
