Ruth Ann Robbins' Obituary
Ruth Ann (Jones) Robbins, age 87, of China Township, passed away on October 24, 2024 with family by her side. Ruth was born on October 19, 1937 in St. Clair to Russell and Ellen Jones. She graduated from St. Clair High School and on June 2, 1956, married Fred Arthur Robbins. They were married for 52 years. Fred preceded her in death on February 6, 2009.
Ruth retired from Hodges and Irvine, Inc. of St. Clair after many years of service.
She is survived by her four children, Cathy (John) Stockwell, Fred (Janet) Robbins, Terri (Larry) Williams and Lori Calhoun; 11 grandchildren, Heather (Mike), John (Jill), Steve, Paul (Tracie), Fred (Tara), Chad (Julie), Samantha (Josh), Kristin (Andrew), Katie (Spencer), Andrew (Alexis) and Eric; 18 great grandchildren, Caden, Tessa, Dane, Lydia, Mara, Camm, Haylee, Cole, Grant, Nolan, Isabella, Chase, Morgan, Lily, Riley, Sophie, James and Emma.
Ruth is also survived by sisters, Pat Sharrow, Bev (Jim) Wright, Linda (Glenn) Riedel, Bonnie (Bob) Wolf; her in laws, Carol Jones, Sheila Robbins, Shirley Ward, Dan (Carol) Robbins and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammi Lynne Robbins; granddaughter, Joie Lynn Stockwell and great granddaughter, Laine Elizabeth Weiss; her brother Russ Jones and in laws, Donn Sharrow, Bob and Betty Robbins, Jerry and Linda Artman, Tim Robbins and Gary Ward.
