I was fortunate enough to have Ruth Ann in our ceramic classes with my Mom (Joan Rettinger). She was there after Tory was born. Ruth Ann loved it when I would come in because she could hold my brand new baby. Ruth Ann had a way of making you feel good, but man could she me us laugh. We called the ceramic store the coffee house but if it wasn't for my Mom opening it I would have never gotten to know Ruth Ann. I do know she was upfront and didn't take any crap from anyone. I am so sorry that she had to suffer the way she did. I pray that you all remember the good times you had with her before the disease set in plus I want you all to remember she is still in all your hearts and she loved you all very much. All our Love and Prayers, Fred & Kim Rettinger
When I think of Ruth Ann, I think of her laugh, the kind where she would bend over some and half slap your back, or her knee, when she was in the middle of it. She had a personality that was full of life.... Always ready for a fun, and always cracking people up around her with her comments.
Love you Ruth Ann. I will always smile when I think of you.
I loved how everyday after school I would go home to my grandmas and we would watch movies and wash dishes together :)
