Ruth Mary Love age 98, passed away January 7, 2024
Ruth was born on June 8, 1925. She married Gordon H. Love on January 12 1943, while he was home on a short furlough from the army during WW11.
Ruth and Gordon owned and operated Dog n Suds restaurant in Algonac, MI. They later changed the name to Love’s Family restaurant.
Ruth is survived by her son, Gary (Debra) Love, and daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Steward, son in-law Nelson Stringer. Grandchildren, Tim (Tracy) Love, Matt (Nikki) Stringer, Jeremy (Candace) Stringer, Bill (Rhonda) Steward, Kristy (Todd) Thomas, Kimberly (Kevin) Cameron, Carrie Krantz, Petur Workman, Jessica Endres, Jason Schilling and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Love and daughter Cindy Stringer. A private family service will be held at Rose Hill cemetery in the spring.
